More wins for La Americana!

La Americana took the best documentary prize at the Urbanworld Film Festival in New York City, and received a special jury mention for Best Documentary at the Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival.
After a rousing screening in Kansas City I’m currently showing the film in Birmingham, Alabama, at the Sidewalk Moving Picture Festival, and John Mattiuzzi is attending a screening at the San Diego Film Festival. From here the film goes to DocsDF in Mexico City and then to Washington DC for the National Geographic Film Festival.
